Who is this for?
For anyone who makes intimate apparel and wants to learn and grow. whether you have decades of experience, or are just starting out, we all have something to learn from each other.
If you're curious, open to growth and care about how garments are created, you're welcome here.
Do I need to have something finished to share?
Not at all. This is a space for works-in-progress. Bring a rough draft, a pattern you're thinking through, a fabric or construction method you're unsure about, whatever stage you’re in, we're all here to learn and support.
What if I’m shy or not ready to talk?
You’re welcome to participate quietly. Cameras on are encouraged to help build a sense of connection, but no pressure to present or speak until you're ready.
Do I have to use Clo?
We do use CLO in this space, but it’s not the focus. It’s an incredibly helpful tool for illustrating pattern changes and testing ideas, and we’ll reserve some time for troubleshooting CLO-related issues. But CLO is just that—a tool we use in support of the bigger goal: making thoughtful, well-executed garments.
Are replays available?
The intention of Intimates Lab is to create space to show up for, share, and improve our creative and technical work. We will have the occasional guest speaker or focused topic, but mostly it’s a monthly gathering of like minded people who are in the process of creating intimate garments.
That said, we will occasionally have guest speakers or special sessions focused on specific topics, and I’d like to preserve that valuable information for future reference. These sessions will be recorded and shared in a replay library.
