Hello, welcome! If you found your way here it's because you want to understand how to use CLO3D for simulating underwire bras that translate to real-world garments. I've seen so many 3D garments made only for visualization that don't use a pattern or materials that truly represent the physical garment, and my goal is to change that. We can and should use 3D to simulate the actual pattern to help predict the final outcome of fit and design, saving time, materials, and money before ever making the physical garment.

In this course, I'll teach you how to draft an underwire bra pattern using the 2D tools in Clo, and I'll also teach you how to construct and simulate that pattern for both a basic and a complex 3D simulation. The basic version will include all necessary details to quickly evaluate fit and design without slowing down your file. In contrast, the advanced simulation will include all components of the physical bra for highly detailed presentations and an accurate representation of the final product.

Ultimately, I believe that to maximize the full capabilities of the software, we must ensure that the information on the 2D side and the 3D side both accurately reflect the intended construction of the garment being developed. This course gives you the tools to bridge that gap and achieve truly production-ready digital modeling.
